The Social and Dramatic Union at Jai Hind College is the cultural committee that aims at enriching and promoting the cultural aspects of the college. It includes organizing various cultural events and providing students a platform to showcase their talents.
The Fresher’s for FYJC and FY degree students was held on the 18th and 19th of August, Friday and Saturday respectively from 3 pm to 7 pm. The theme for the first ever edition was “Neon It Up,” inspired by the enthusiasm and excitement our freshers experience while awaiting the new year. It was an evening filled with dance, music, and great food.
The objective of the Freshers was to welcome the new students, kick off the new academic year with a great start as well as to offer a glimpse of the events the Social and Dramatic Union has to offer throughout the year.
The students enjoyed not only the Freshers but also lined up at the photo booth set up to click pictures. There were 500 students from FYJC and 350 First Year Degree college students. The outcomes included providing a beneficial and safe environment for both the college and its students. The Social and Dramatic Unions wishes to continue the vision of celebrating talent, and culture and fostering friendships.
