CSR - CHildren's day

The Social and Dramatic Union is the premier cultural committee at Jai Hind
College tasked with organizing various cultural events including SHOUTT, the inter-
collegiate festival of Jai Hind College. It is responsible for providing the students with a
platform to showcase their talents and enrich cultural value.
Activities: On November 14th, 2024, the Social and Dramatic Union (SDU) of Jai Hind
College organized a Children’s Day celebration in collaboration with the Junoon Foundation
NGO. The event took place at the JLP Banquets in Malad, starting from 10 am, with the SDU
members and around 50 children in attendance.
The event was conducted with a range of exciting activities to keep the children engaged and
entertained. The activities started with an engaging team game where children had to work
together to get a ball into a bucket. This was followed by an energetic round of musical
chairs, along with a lively dance session, where the children got to showcase their moves and
express themselves on the dance floor. To round off the activities, a delicious lunch was
served, as a treat to the children for their special day. The outcomes as followed by the Social
and Dramatic Union are to nurture and grow as a committee, providing a safe and beneficial
environment for students and the college and fostering friendships and creativity.
The day concluded on a heartwarming note, with both the SDU volunteers and
the children sharing in each other’s joy and creating lasting memories. The Social and
Dramatic Union is committed to continuing such initiatives, bringing joy and support to those
in need.
