The Social and Dramatic Union organized the legendary Rose Day online. When you see everyone in the most glamorous outfits one could find only at Manish Malhotra Showrooms. Rose Day is a day that many students look forward to as they get a chance to walk in their gorgeous ethnic wears. Due to the pandemic, the students dressed up at their homes, clicked pictures and sent them across to the SDU using social media using the hashtag #roserosekibaatien .They competed for the Best Dressed Male and Best Dressed Female.

A major reason to look forward to this pre-event for one of Mumbai’s Largest intercollegiate festival SHOUTT is the celebration of the rose day. Students could send a message either anonymously or by naming the sender to literally anyone they wish, from their teachers, friends, enemies to their crushes. The students who received the maximum number of Rose Cards were crowned Rose King and Rose Queen for the academic year, a popularity title that people yearn for. This year, students wrote messages and submitted them through the SDU website and were given an potion to send two types of Rose Cards- Red and Yellow Rose Cards. Saiyam Sanghvi and Panthini Nandu, both from SYBBI were crowned the Rose King and Queen respectively.
