The Social and Dramatic Union at Jai Hind College is the cultural committee that aims at enriching and promoting the cultural aspects of the college. It includes organizing various cultural events and providing students a platform to showcase their talents.

This year, the first-ever edition of the musical production titled ‘Ishtiyaaq’ was introduced in the history of the Social and Dramatic Union. It was organized, directed and presented by the students at Jai Hind College under the Social and Dramatic Union on the 7^th of December from 12 to 2 pm. The musical play was open to the audience and comprised of people from all departments. It was directed by students Kaushal Lakeshri and Kanishq Panchal from Third Year. ‘Ishtiaaq’ was a dream that was brought to life, it revolved around the concept of being an unquenchable desire to be your pure authentic self. The play was inspired by each and every student and reflected a piece of their lives through this magical realism.

The musical play was rendered as a tremendous success and resonated with every member of the audience. The Social and Dramatic Union is dedicated and committed to providing students with a platform like this to express their abilities and further enrich their talents.
