The Social and Dramatic Union at Jai Hind College is the cultural committee that hosts the annual celebration for Teacher’s Day dedicated to our wonderful and supportive teachers. It was held this year on Wednesday, 4th September 2023 from 11 am till 2 pm. 

The theme for this event was decided as “Retro”. The teachers enjoyed multiple performances given by faculty members from across all streams. The performances included sets of stand-ups, singing a melody of songs, a sensational Bharatnatyam dance performance, and a phenomenal short play. Our honourable principle also joined the occasion by singing a wonderful song and dedicating it to the students. The teachers were also invited on stage to play a short game which they were seen enjoying thoroughly. The objective of the celebration was to host an afternoon filled with laughter and joy while extending our gratitude and appreciation to our teachers. A photo booth was also set up for the teachers to click pictures and cherish the moment.

The event concluded on a joyous note and in high spirits felt by the members of the faculty. The Social and Dramatic Union aims to continue this legacy of honouring and celebrating our teachers.
